- Meet state requirements-Provide a Plumbing Experience Verification Form
- Complete a 4-year apprenticeship program
OR - Provide verified proof of at least 576 hours of acedemic classroom training in subjects listed in OAR 918-695-0030 AND provide verified proof of 3,850 hours lawful commercial AND 3,850 hours lawful residential on-the-job experience as an
apprentice or journeyman plumber. Academic experience must meet the requirements of 918-695-0030(2)(b).

- Pay the $100 non-refundable application processing fee
- After your application is approved the division will mail you a letter with details of how to schedule your exam.
