  • Accurate sizing techniques: Including the process of assigning drainage fixture units (DFU), determining drainage load, calculating horizontal drainage slopes with Darcy and Manning's formulas and various other sizing calculation methods
  • Principles of fluid dynamics: Piping arrangement and system architecture
  • Alternative system options: Eco-conscious and sustainable approaches; progressive and atypical sanitary drainage systems
  • Grease interceptors: Guidelines for effective placement, installation and management
