The Colorado State Plumbing Board requires that licensed Residential, Journeyman, and Master Plumbers complete 16 hours of continuing education (CE) during each two-year license period. The renewal deadline is February 28 of every odd-numbered year.
Eight (8) CE hours are required during each licensure year (March 01 through February 28), except during the very first license renewal cycle.
Licensees can choose any combination of CE courses related to the list of Core Competencies during each two-year license cycle period, as long as:
Plumbers with multiple licenses must complete CE for the most advanced license. Doing so satisfies the requirements for the lesser licenses as well.
For example, a Master plumber who also holds a residential license and completes their required CE fulfills the requirements for both licenses.
Plumbers Training Institute designs courses that help plumbing professionals across the nation get licensed, complete renewals, and advance their careers.
Our convenient online courses deliver industry-leading training directly to users, with on-demand lessons available anytime.

Our selection is divided into three credit types: code, core, and safety. Pick any combination that fulfills the complete CE requirements (four code, two safety, 10 core).

This bundle fulfills the annual CE requirement by combining two courses that total eight (8) core credit hours, with four (4) being code related.
This package does not provide any safety-related hours.

"I am a Journeyman Plumber in Colorado. I have wanted to get my master license for a while, but having three kids it's been difficult with time. I found this course online and my employer backed me on taking it. I highly recommend this course."

"Your courses are inexpensive with an easy-to-use platform. Much more convenient than taking time off work to go to a live course. I like the fact that I can take courses on my own time."
